Exploration and Destination
My aim is to establish a dialect with those that don’t yet have a voice. I will document their highs, lows, stories, dreams and hopes for the future -- in an honest and humane way. I plan to explore the very west of China, and then on to northeast Africa. My Journey will begin in Beijing, and then on to Guiyang, Guizhou province. From there on my route is flexible but determined.
I was to embark on China’s longest rail route. The journey itself takes 36 hours and covers a massive 1,346 miles.
